For many years, our members’ sports programs have flourished, featuring events at all levels from local branches to the Dominion Championships, including games like darts and cribbage.

 

By participating at the local level, members can compete as individuals, in pairs, or as teams, based on the sport. Their achievements may lead them to compete at the provincial and national stages.

Branch Sports Update

The Branch is proud of its vibrant sports programs. We offer a variety of sports for our members to enjoy. Members have the opportunity to select a sport that aligns with their interests and skills. In certain sports, competitions are divided into regular and senior categories, recognizing that age can be a factor in performance.

Upcoming Zone & District Sport Events

Zone & District Sports involve competitions between our Legion and other branches within the zone & district. These events are available to any member in good standing with Branch 383.

 

Typically, the deadline for submitting entries to the Zone is about 2 weeks prior to an event. To help with organization, the Sports Chair requests that members sign up 3-4 weeks ahead of the event. All sign-up sheets and relevant information can be found on the Sports Board at the Legion. If you prefer, feel free to reach out to the Sports Chair directly with any questions.
